Match software and live scoring for freETarget ranges
Nexus, from Falken, Ltd., runs marksmanship matches on freETarget electronic scoring targets. Nexus Desktop on the range computer records every shot as it's fired, and Nexus publishes live scoreboards, athlete pages and results that athletes and families can follow from anywhere.

The terms, briefly
freETarget
An open-source electronic scoring target, also written Free-E-Target, that clubs, schools and home ranges build or buy as a kit. It measures where each shot lands and sends it to a computer on the range.
Nexus Desktop
Falken's app for the range computer. It connects to your targets, records every shot and runs the match on the line.
Match management
Everything around the shooting: entries, relays and firing points, scoring, score review and published results.
How a freETarget match runs in Nexus
From the first shot to published results, in one system.
Connect your lanes
Nexus Desktop finds the freETarget targets on your range network and connects to each one over TCP.
Build the match
Choose the course of fire, take entries, and assign athletes to relays and firing points.
Score it live
Each shot flows from the target to Nexus Desktop as it's fired, with no manual entry, and on to Falken's servers.
Let everyone follow along
Scoreboards and public athlete pages show each shot landing on the target, on any phone or computer. No app and no login for public matches.
Review and publish
Every score starts provisional. You verify it, apply penalties where the rules call for them, and publish individual and team results.
Keep every athlete's history
Each match lands in the athlete's record, shot by shot, next to training journals and goals.
"I think your software is going to change training in the US and worldwide."
