Forbush Falcons Rifle Camp 2027 · July 19–23, 2027
Five days of three-position sporter air rifle. Two tracks built around where your athlete is today. One CMP-sanctioned 3×20 to put the work on the record.
Hosted by Forbush High School JROTC in East Bend, North Carolina. A junior air rifle camp for JROTC, 4-H, club, and school athletes ages 10 through 19.
Back for 2027
Last July, sixteen athletes from five schools spent a week at Forbush High School. Every one of them finished the sanctioned match. Ten earned CMP Achievement Pins. Ten shot the best score of their lives.
In 2027, we run it again—with room for thirty-six athletes, two dedicated gyms, and a week built for both the kid stepping onto a firing line for the first time and the kid chasing a state title.
Right here in East Bend, near Winston-Salem. The opportunity is bigger. The focus hasn’t changed.

For athletes in their first year who have never attended a CMP summer camp or a CMP-hosted match. We start at the actual beginning, without expecting an athlete to know what nobody has taught them yet.

For athletes who have stood on a championship line, or who have more than a year of experience and at least two CMP-sanctioned shoulder-to-shoulder 3×20 matches. We build on that experience and get specific about what comes next.
Both tracks fire the same CMP-sanctioned match on Friday. Camp staff may adjust placement after Monday’s diagnostic for safety, skill fit, or group balance. Placement is not a judgment of ability.
July 19–23, 2027
Focus is a skill. Skills can be built. This week gives athletes the coaching, the structure, and the opportunity to do that work.
Monday, July 19 · Day 1
Turn in your signed waiver, complete orientation and safety evaluation, and establish a baseline with the Monday diagnostic. Coaches use that starting point to confirm track placement and identify what each athlete needs to work on.
Tuesday–Thursday, July 20–22 · Days 2–4
Position work. Shot process. Mental preparation. Match readiness. Each track works at its own level, with hands-on coaching and Falken Nexus analysis that connects what an athlete felt on the line with what appeared on the target.
Friday, July 23 · Day 5
Both tracks finish with a CMP-sanctioned 3×20 match. Not a scrimmage. Not an unofficial score. A real match to put the week’s work to the test, followed by lunch and awards.
What makes the week different
The score tells you what happened. The coaching and the data help you understand why.
The coaching
Our coaching cadre returns for 2027, and we are recruiting two additional NCAA athlete coaches—one per track. Applications for those coaching positions are open.
Small groups. Hands-on correction. Daily feedback from coaches who see the athlete behind the score.
The data
Paper targets are scanned into Falken Nexus after every relay. AI-assisted analysis examines shot-group dispersion, point-of-impact shifts, called-versus-actual deviation, and position trends.
Your data is yours for life. Season-long platform access is included with camp.
The match
Friday’s CMP-sanctioned 3×20 gives both tracks the same opportunity: step onto the line, follow the process, and compete in a real match.

Both tracks are $200 per athlete. Pay by card at registration or select payment by mailed check.

Before you arrive · Required for every athlete
Download and complete one Participation Agreement and Waiver per athlete. A parent or legal guardian must sign for an athlete under 18. Athletes age 18 or older may sign for themselves.
Turn in the completed, signed waiver on Day 1 of camp: Monday, July 19, 2027.
Schools and programs should retain a copy for their records.

Two NCAA Athlete Coaches. One Week That Matters.

Forbush Falcons Rifle Camp seeks two NCAA rifle athletes to coach junior athletes in three-position sporter air rifle, July 19–23, 2027, at Forbush High School in East Bend, North Carolina.
Applicants must be NCAA rifle team members, have completed one year of college before camp, and be available all five days. Bring strong fundamentals, patience, and a commitment to safety. Selected coaches must complete any required screening and training.

Life happens. Kids get hurt. Families move. Schedules collide.
Here is exactly what happens to your registration when plans change, including your options for a refund, a medical credit, or a transfer to another athlete.
This policy applies to individual registrations and seats reserved by coaches, schools, or programs. Refunds are calculated separately for each canceled seat, based on the registration fees actually paid for that seat.

The medical, organizer-cancellation, and waitlist exceptions below override the standard refund schedule when applicable.
Dates in the table are inclusive, with each listed period ending at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. The date that counts is when your cancellation email reaches camps@falken.ltd, not when you draft it or when staff acknowledges it.
Registration may close early if camp fills. An early sellout does not move the June 30 refund deadline forward.
Medical cancellation or withdrawal, before or during camp.
If your athlete becomes medically unable to attend or continue camp, provide a signed note from a licensed physician confirming that the athlete cannot participate during the relevant camp dates. You choose: a refund of all registration fees paid, less the $10 administrative fee, or a medical credit covering an equivalent registration at the 2028 Forbush Falcons Rifle Camp at no additional charge.
This exception applies even after camp begins. No 50% tier, no 14-day cliff — health comes first. It applies to cancellation or withdrawal from the remainder of camp, rather than reimbursement for an isolated missed day.
Notify us as soon as reasonably possible. The physician’s note may follow your initial cancellation email. A diagnosis, treatment history, or complete medical record is not required.
If we cancel, materially shorten, or reschedule camp.
If the camp organizers cancel or materially shorten the scheduled camp for any reason — including weather, a facility issue, an instructor emergency, or a public-health order — every registered athlete receives a refund of all registration fees paid, with no administrative fee. This promise applies even if camp has already begun.
If we reschedule instead, you may keep your place for the new dates or choose the full refund. We will not require you to accept a credit instead of a refund.
This refund commitment covers camp registration fees. It does not reimburse travel, lodging, equipment purchases, or other expenses paid to third parties, except where required by law.
If your spot gets filled from the waitlist.
If your cancellation allows a waitlisted athlete to take your released seat at full price and that athlete’s payment is received, we refund all registration fees you paid, with no administrative fee. If you already received a partial refund, we refund the remaining balance, including any administrative fee previously withheld.
We cannot guarantee that a replacement will be available. But when the camp is whole, you should be too.
You cannot attend, but a sibling, teammate, or friend can? Tell us.
With staff approval, we will transfer your registration to another eligible athlete at no charge. Transfers must be approved before the scheduled start of camp on Monday, July 19, 2027. The replacement athlete must meet the camp and track eligibility requirements and complete the required registration and signed waiver before participating.
A transfer keeps the registration payment with the camp; it does not generate a refund. Any reimbursement between families or programs is arranged privately. A transfer does not restart the refund deadlines, and any later refund remains payable to the original purchaser.

We confirm receipt within one business day. If you have not heard from us, follow up on the original email; a delayed acknowledgment does not change the date your cancellation was received.
We initiate refunds within 10 business days after receiving your cancellation and any required supporting documentation. For a waitlist refund, the processing period begins when the replacement athlete’s payment is received. For an organizer cancellation, it begins when we announce the cancellation; for a rescheduling refund, when you choose that option. Refunds of check payments are issued after the original payment has cleared.
Card refunds are submitted through Stripe to the original payment method. Your bank may take approximately 5–10 additional business days to show the credit. Refund checks are mailed within the applicable processing period; postal delivery time is additional. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.
Check payments and reserved program seats.
The same cancellation schedule applies whether you paid by card or check, and whether a reserved seat already has an athlete assigned. If we have not deposited your check, we may return or void it and arrange payment of any cancellation amount due under this policy. If the check has cleared, any refund is mailed to the original purchaser. Not mailing a check or stopping payment does not replace the requirement to cancel by email.
Medical credits toward future camps.
Medical credits are issued in the original athlete’s name, are non-transferable, and remain valid through December 31, 2028, or longer where required by law. No administrative fee is deducted when you choose a credit.
The credit covers an equivalent registration at the 2028 Forbush Falcons Rifle Camp in full, even if the registration price increases. Alternatively, it may be applied at the value of the original registration payment to another Falken-hosted camp for which the athlete is eligible. Any higher price for that other camp is payable separately; any unused credit remains available until its expiration date.
Contact us before registering to apply your credit; a credit does not automatically reserve a seat. If we do not offer the 2028 Forbush Falcons Rifle Camp or cannot offer your athlete an eligible place there, you may choose another eligible Falken-hosted camp or receive the original medical refund: registration fees paid less the $10 administrative fee, with any previously used credit deducted. Otherwise, credits are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.
Safety and conduct.
An athlete removed from camp for unsafe conduct, refusal to follow a range officer’s direction, or harassment of another participant is not entitled to a refund, consistent with the Participation Agreement and Waiver. This is separate from a qualifying medical cancellation or withdrawal.
All refunds are in U.S. dollars and are payable to the original purchaser. If a school, team, or other organization paid for the registration, the refund goes back to that payer, not directly to the athlete or family. We do not redirect refunds to a different card, bank account, or person on request. If the original payment method cannot accept a refund and the refund fails, we will arrange an alternative with the verified original purchaser.
A registration cannot receive both a refund and a credit for the same funds. Previous refunds and used credits are taken into account when calculating any additional refund. Total monetary refunds cannot exceed the registration fees actually paid.
This policy governs cancellation and refund terms for the Forbush Falcons Rifle Camp 2027 and should be read together with the Participation Agreement and Waiver, including its safety and conduct requirements. Nothing in this policy limits any cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
The version displayed at registration applies to your purchase. Later policy changes will not reduce the refund rights attached to an existing registration.
