Forbush Falcon's Rifle Camp 2026
Five days. Every shot on the record. Sporter Class Air Rifle Camp in East Bend, NC.
About this camp
Forbush Falcon's Rifle Camp · July 20–24, 2026
Five days.
Every shot
on the record.
Thirty-six athletes. Eighteen lanes. One CMP-sanctioned match on Friday. And the first camp built around Falken Nexus — where every shot you fire is scanned, analyzed, and delivered back to you as data you own for life.
This is a training camp built the way a training camp is supposed to be built. Real coaching. Real data. And on Friday, a real sanctioned match that follows your athlete's CMP number for life.
The week
What actually happens.
Day 1 — Baseline.
Orientation and a diagnostic match. We baseline every athlete, then split the group into two tracks — Experienced and Developmental — so every cadet trains where they actually are, not where the roster says they should be.
Days 2, 3 & 4 — The work.
Positions. Shot process. Mental game. Match prep. Wednesday afternoon, both groups fire a formal 3×10 mid-week record match. Thursday is the dress rehearsal — a full 3×20 Practice Final under match conditions.
Day 5 — The real thing.
A CMP-sanctioned 3×20 EIC match, eligible for gold, silver, and bronze Excellence-In-Competition pins that follow the athlete's CMP number for life. Friday evening: awards ceremony, pizza party, scores announced, and every cadet walks out with a Falken Nexus packet of their entire week.
Why this camp is different
Three things have to be real.
The match is real.
Most summer camps end in a scrimmage. This one ends in a CMP-sanctioned Excellence-In-Competition match, scored to the same standard an adult Distinguished Badge aspirant fires. The pin counts. The ranking counts.
The data is real.
Paper targets scanned into Falken Nexus after every relay, then broken down by AI — shot-group dispersion, point-of-impact shifts, called-versus-actual deviation, and position trends. Cadets leave with more analysis of their shooting than most national-team athletes had at their age.
The coaching is real.
Current and former NCAA collegiate talent on the firing line — led by Debi Weiser, a current Jacksonville State University athlete, and Angus Babcock, a former Jacksonville State athlete — coaching the same positions and shot process that took them to the college level. Backed by a camp director with three decades of precision marksmanship experience and retired military marksmanship specialists. Small ratios. Every cadet gets hands-on correction every day.
Who it's for
Ages 10 through 19. Any level of experience.
First-timers are welcome — the Developmental track is built for cadets who have never fired a scored match before. Experienced shooters get a focused, match-prep curriculum that readies them for state, regional, and national competition.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Life happens. Kids break wrists. Families move. Schedules collide.
Here's exactly what you get back, based on when you let us know.
The policy at a glance
| When you cancel | What you get back |
|---|---|
| On or before June 10, 2026 (the registration deadline) | 100% refund, less a $10 administrative fee |
| June 11 – July 6, 2026 (14+ days before camp) | 50% refund |
| July 7 – July 19, 2026 (fewer than 14 days before camp) | No cash refund. Your seat may be transferred to another eligible athlete with staff approval. |
| During camp (July 20 – 24, 2026) | No refund. No-show or mid-camp withdrawal forfeits the registration in full. |
The date that counts is the date your written cancellation reaches us, not the date you put it in the mail or drafted the email.
Exceptions — when we refund in full
Medical cancellation, at any time.
If your athlete becomes medically unable to attend and you provide a signed note from a licensed physician, you choose: a full refund (less the $10 administrative fee), or a full credit applied to next year's camp at no additional charge. No 50% tier, no 14-day cliff — health comes first.
If we cancel the camp.
If Falken or the Forbush Falcons cancel or materially shorten the camp for any reason — weather, facility issue, instructor emergency, public-health order — every registered athlete receives a full refund with no administrative fee. If we reschedule instead, you may keep your spot at the new dates or take the full refund. Your choice.
If your spot gets filled from the waitlist.
If your cancellation makes it possible for a waitlisted athlete to take your seat at full price, we refund you in full — including the $10 administrative fee. When the camp is whole, you should be too.
Transfers are welcome
You can't attend, but a sibling, teammate, or friend can?
Tell us. With staff approval, we'll transfer your registration to the new athlete at no charge. This works any time up to the morning of Day 1, and it's often the best option for families past the 14-day window — a friend gets the spot, you get your money through the friend, and the camp stays full.
How to cancel
Email camps@falken.ltd with:
- Athlete's full name as registered
- The date of the original registration
- Reason for cancellation (a short sentence is fine)
- If medical: a photo or scan of the physician's note
We confirm receipt within one business day. Refunds are issued within 10 business days via your original payment method — back to your card for Stripe payments, by mailed check for check payments.
A few specifics
Check payers.
If your cancellation reaches us before we've deposited your check, we'll return the original check or void it — no cut-check turnaround. If the check has already cleared, a refund check is mailed within 10 business days.
Credits toward future camps.
Credits are issued in the name of the original registered athlete, are non-transferable, expire one year from the date of issue, and have no cash value. We can apply them to any Falken-hosted camp.
The fine print
All refunds are in U.S. dollars. Refunds go back to the original payment method only — we cannot redirect to a different card, bank account, or payee. This policy is governed by the Forbush Falcon's Rifle Camp 2026 Registration Agreement and Waiver; where this policy and that agreement differ, the Registration Agreement controls. This policy may be updated between camp years; the version in effect is the one displayed on the registration page at the time you register.
Policy version: 2026.1 — Effective upon publication on the Falken Nexus registration page.
